Description
This most excellent example of knife wing (a favorite Zuni deity) is expertly inlaid with Turquoise, Jet, Mother of Pearl, Spiny Oyster and Gold Lip Mother of Pearl. The bracelet is composed of two hand wrought wires with additional side silver pieces that provide both support and a great sense of depth. They are well as the bottom of the wings are accented with silver balls. This was purchased in a large Native American jewelry collection and is one of the best pieces of the lot! It appears to have 350- scratched in the back (perhaps the original price). A helpful eBayer has let us know that this appears to be a Gary & Paulinis Vacit piece due to the construction and design.

The Zuni Knife Wing Dancer measures 2 25/32" (70.5mm) tall and 2 23/32" (68.8mm) wide. The bracelet itself measures 2 27/32" (72.2mm) wide.
