Description
This vintage, circa 1900 Kappa Sigma badge features a crescent framing a star. Fashioned from 14k yellow gold, the pin is adorned with small seed pearls and features the black enameled symbols of crossed skeleton keys, a skull and cross bones, and crossed swords atop a textured background. A ring of seed pearl frames the Greek letters, Kappa Sigma, in the center of the star, while the arms of the star are accented with black and white enameling and a seed pearl at the tip. The backside of the badge is fitted with a pin and clasp and is engraved W.H. Chapin. This piece has been professionally tested for metal purity.
This badge weighs 2 grams. The piece measures 9/16" (13.9mm) long and 9/16" (14mm) wide.
