I do not have a directory for this group, but it is certainly a founders era pin if not a founders badge! The hand engraving is very stunning. Phi Omega Pi was founded at the University of Nebraska in 1910. The group began for Eastern Star members only but began open membership in 1931. In 1946 the group was absorbed by Delta Zeta sorority.
This 14k yellow gold badge features an irregular pentagon bearing the Hebrew lettering atop a black enameled surface and surrounded by a border of genuine seed pearls. There is a blue/purple stone in the star. The back is hand engraved Bessie Shelden. The back has a circa early 1910s T-bar pin and barrel/open bullet clasp. Don't miss out on this amazing find!
